Accommodation

We offer two rooms for guests – a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both rooms can be booked as singles. Both rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, a supply of biscuits and a hairdryer along with comfy beds and an ample supply of nice towels.

The bathroom - adjacent to the bedrooms - is for guest use only and is well appointed with a shower cubicle, bidet and wide, double ended bath in case you need to soak away the day's exertions. Alas, the layout of this old stone traditional house will not allow us to insert 'en suites' but, with a maximum of four guests and very often just one booking, our guests have never reported this as a problem.

On the landing there is a large and eclectic selection of books, which guests are more than welcome to borrow for the duration of their stay. In the entrance porch there is also a large selection of local interest leaflets and books.

The guest sitting room is a large and cosy room with original beams and stone inglenook fire place, in which a log burning stove burns on all but the hottest of days. Television, CD and DVD facilities are provided as well as a range of board games; put your feet up on the foot stools and relax in front of the fire - we are more than happy for guests to bring their own wine. Guest meals are also served in the sitting room.

There is a generous entrance porch with plenty room for boots, coats etc. and guests have their own entrance door and a key so they can come and go at any time. If you need anything else - clothes or boots drying, an iron and ironing board, plates, corkscrew or glasses - you only have to ask.

Do see the gallery for more photos of the cosy lounge, kitchen and garden as well as the extra facilities in our Hemmel and Summerhouse.

Please note we have ample, off road parking for guests.
